Lynn McBee

Lynn is a graduate of The University of Texas at Austin where she received a bachelor’s degree in biochemistry. She has worked in the industry as a consultant for a privately held biotech firm for almost 23 years. She was recently named the CEO of the Young Women's Preparatory Network. Lynn is best known for her leadership roles in the Dallas community.

She is chairman emeritus and life member of the board of directors of the Visiting Nurse Association and currently serves on the board of directors for The Trinity Trust, The Bridge Homeless Shelter, The Salvation Army, Dallas Women’s Foundation, AT&T Performing Arts Center, and the Chi Omega National Foundation.

She is past chairman and current board member of The Arts Community Alliance (TACA); past chairman and current board member of the Dallas Film Society; a trustee for the Children’s Medical Center Foundation and Letot Center Foundation; chairman of the board of trustees for the Dallas Historical Society and The Family Place Foundation; executive board member, Dallas County Community College District Foundation and Dedman College at Southern Methodist University; and on the advisory board of the American Film Institute  and The University of Texas at Austin College of Natural Sciences.

Lynn is an avid runner, a former oboist, and a classically trained pianist. Lynn loves going to the movies, running, traveling, reading, and spending time with her nieces. She has been married to her husband, Allan, for almost 15 years.
