First Annual Frontier Fest * April 17—19, 2025
This three-day celebration will highlight the Texas frontier’s unique heritage and feature the prestigious Regional U.S. Cavalry Competition, honoring the 26th Cavalry Regiment of the Philippine Scouts (26th CAV PS).
Frontier Fest 2025 will also include:
Living history demonstrations and hands-on programs
Vendors and food trucks
German pioneer demonstrations in partnership with the Pioneer Museum
Appearances by the Official State Longhorn Herd and the Texas Camel Corps
Family-friendly activities, including a kids’ stick-horse cavalry course
Proceeds from Frontier Fest will directly support educational programs and historic preservation efforts at Fort Martin Scott, ensuring that we can continue to offer impactful programming for the Fredericksburg community and beyond.
