Aaron Dorfner

Aaron Dorfner has an undergraduate degree in history from Minnesota State University and a law degree from Ohio Northern University. He moved to Midland with his wife (who was born and raised in Brownfield, Texas) in 2003 to work for a federal judge. After his term ended with the United States District Court in 2005, he joined Cotton, Bledsoe, Tighe and Dawson, in Midland, where he worked as an attorney for the past 15 years. During that time, he represented various clients in litigation matters, including governmental entities and political subdivisions. In the past he served on the Board of Big Brothers, Big Sisters where he was involved in a capital campaign. Currently, he is finishing his last year on the Board for the United Way of Midland where he served as Vice President of Fundraising. He serves as chairmen for the United Way annual campaign in 2018, and also chaired Trinity School of Midland’s yearly fundraising campaign for 2020.
